At the University of Nebraska Foundation, we grow relationships and resources that enable the University of Nebraska to change lives and save lives. This position would provide you with the opportunity to raise funds for the College of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In this role, you will get to work with supportive alumni and friends of UNL and support a college that is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals, families, schools and communities and strengthening the relationships among them.

As the Director of Development, College of Education and Human Sciences, you will plan and implement major gift fundraising strategies including identification, cultivation, and stewardship of major gift donors. You can expect to directly communicate with campus leadership and be a part of collaboratively establishing fundraising priorities and strategy.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in development or a related field with transferrable skills.
  • Fundraising, business development and/or sales experience preferred.
  • The ability to travel based on position needs.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Discretion in handling confidential matters.
