General Summary:

Assists with the day-to-day operations of the Mobile Service Technician responsibilities ensuring delivery of excellent customer service. Related activities include, but are not limited to, being on-call 24 hours per day/7 days per week/365 days per year assisting with customer hose repair calls, truck maintenance, monthly reports, servicing assigned territory and soliciting new business and inventory maintenance on truck.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for assisting with developing, promoting, creating and maintaining sales corporately and within assigned territory.
• Assists with hose and tube fabrication.
• Promotes up-selling on products.
• Assists with monthly reports.
• Full knowledge of Parker products, offerings and other services that are available through the Company.
• Responsible to uphold corporate image appropriate for a Sales Representative.
• Responsible for assisting with assigned territory and for servicing all accounts and soliciting additional sales from these accounts.
• Understands and follows all policies and procedures within the department and corporation.

Supplemental Job Functions:

• Provides and supports a positive work environment.
• Responsible for profitability of company and attaining goals and objectives set forth by the Board of Directors.
• Participates in corporate on-boarding and orientation programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School Diploma (required).
• Previous work experience (industrial sales environment preferred).
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt to different types of personalities.
• Excellent math skills.
• Valid driver license and excellent driving record.
• Beginner PC skills.
• Ability to bend/lift and/or carry weight to industry standards.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to be on-call for 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
• Organizational skills required to prioritize, plan and coordinate work activities and resources in area of responsibility.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with associates, customers, business partners and management team.
• Demonstrated teamwork approach with superiors, peers and subordinates utilizing skills in oral communication, active listening, written and oral directions and cooperating with and assisting others when needed.

Working Conditions:

• Normal business office environment with regular (up to 100% of work time) exposure to noise, dust, office equipment and supplies.
• Physical dexterity needed to bend, stretch, lift and reach.
• Ability to sit or stand for extensive periods throughout the day.
• Ability to perform basic office tasks using standard office equipment.
• Ability to use a keyboard and computer.
