KFW Engineers + Surveying, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking a Survey Field Crew member to join our team in San Antonio, Texas!
In this role you will perform construction staking, topographic/tree surveys, control surveys, etc. You will be using the latest in technology in the performance of this position. Experience with Leica GPS and robotic equipment preferred.
- Take exact measurements to determine property boundaries
- Provide data relevant to the shape, contour, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features for engineering, mapmaking, land evaluation, construction, and other purposes
- Help prepare all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys
- Possess knowledge of the practical application of surveying science and technology
- Good grasp of location in relation to the environment
- Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must be dependable and enjoy working in a team environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience working on a survey crew
- Experience in construction staking, topographic/tree surveys, control surveys, etc.
- Ability to use Leica GPS and robotic equipment preferred
- Possess knowledge of the practical application of surveying science and technology
- If operating a motor vehicle for the purpose of completing job duties, must possess a valid Texas Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
