Solar Service Technician
The Company

PlugPV is a turnkey residential and commercial solar energy provider. We are a small, high impact team dedicated to the deployment of solar electric systems for homeowners and small businesses throughout the US. The Position

The Service Technician is a mission critical role within the organization. This individual is responsible for continued maintenance of our in-service portfolio, and aids in continued efforts to prepare for and execute on new system installations every day. You will work internal teams and customers to conduct new site surveys, troubleshoot alerts and issues on existing installations, and install new products and ancillary equipment for some customers. This role will be comprised of time spent predominantly traveling between appointments and completing service calls throughout each work week.

Qualifications

 1 year experience in the solar industry with experience working in and around inverters, with solar modules, and other solar equipment preferred

 Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold) & Capable of lifting 50 lbs

 Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops
 Excellent customer service & communication skills
 Must be a self-starter with a natural sense of urgency and motivation to succeed
 Must have a valid state driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment background
screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
