Job Title: Registered Nurse - Onsite
Location: Chariton, IA
Assignment Length: 12 weeks with possible extension
Shift: varied days; 6pm-630am
Hourly Pay rate: $84 to $94/hour

Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, provides direct patient care. Plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care for Med-Surg patients as directed. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit, including giving direct patient care.
• Keeps physicians, nurses and other staff informed of patient needs, and problems on the unit as necessary.
• Utilizes gathered data in determining priorities for patients’ physical, psychological, educational and discharge needs in formulating the plan of care.
• Administers medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and correctly.
• Maintains the standards of accurate and complete recording and reporting.

Experience:

• 2 to 9 years of Acute Care experience.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. B.S.N. preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• Active State RN License
• Current BLS from AHA
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
