Marine Technician Job at Big Lake Recreation
Big Lake Recreation is looking for a new marine technician to join our team! This position is year round, 40hrs per week in one of the most beautiful small towns in the Northwest. We are a three generation family business, and strive to create a great work environment with the highest quality staff possible.
Big Lake Recreation has become the leader in premium storage and service for the area, offering its unique full concierge service program. We need someone with attention to detail to help us achieve our goal of being the best boat shop possible. Also, due to the changing seasons, it's a great job for keeping things interesting with constant variety throughout the year!
Job responsibilities would include:
-Basic marine service (oil changes, impellers, etc.)
-Moving and parking boats with a tractor
-Working together with a team of technicians in a shop environment
-Trailer mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
-Boat mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
-Boat interior and exterior cleaning when needed (Training provided)
-Boat polishing and waxing as needed (Training provided)
Applicants MUST HAVE basic tools, prior experience with motors/marine service, be fully trained in summerizing and winterizing water craft, experience on both Merc and Volvo, and a willingness to learn on the job. Pay will be a yearly salary depending on experience, with PTO and bonus.

Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
