Jewelry by Design was founded by Master Jeweler and Owners Mark and Tammy Nelson in 1995. Located in a free-standing location, Jewelry by Design has earned a reputation for fine quality in-store custom jewelry design. With 2 full-time in-store jewelers, the design and repair studio is the largest in the area. Completing all aspects of design and repair in-house, this provides safety and security of customer's jewelry which also allows direct access to the designer for custom design. Mark Nelson is a graduate in Diamonds and Diamond Grading from the Gemological Institute of America, aka, GIA, also a member of Jewelers of America. Jewelry by Design carries a full-line of fine jewelry including: diamond engagement rings, settings, precious colored stone jewelry, officially licensed Auburn University jewelry, etc. Jewelry by Design is an officially licensed jeweler for Auburn University.

This ideal full-time Jewelry by Design Jewelry Sales Professional team member must:

*Greet and make a connection with each customer, actively listen to determine his/her needs and present options to meet those needs.
*Utilize product knowledge and selling skills to build customer relationships and create a lasting positive impression of you and Jewelry by Design.
*Create a safe and secure customer environment by following all Jewelry by Design's take-in procedures.
*Participate in all areas of the store's operations including: promotions, merchandising, displaying, & maintenance.
*Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities, and quickly learning new procedures; as well as M-S availability.
*Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, peers, and management.
*Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
*Fine-Jewelry knowledge preferred, but not required.
