Forklift (Tucker) Operator Job at Contech Engineered Solutions LLC

Job Summary
Operates Tucker equipment to moving concrete to desired production location safely, maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
- Adheres to Contech’s Employee Expectations
- Completes Pre shift daily audit and maintains tucker daily safety checklist.
- Comply with Next Level Quality Assurance Program at all times.
- Operates Tucker to transport concrete from the batchplant to specified production areas.
- Help maintain the concrete batchplant.
- Clean and maintain the concrete mixer.
- Clean in and around the batchplant.
- Fuels and maintains Tucker.
- Completes Post shift daily audit and Parks Tucker in designated area at the end of each day
- Records and turns in production as required.
- Maintains work area and equipment in clean, orderly conditions per 5S standards
- Other duties assigned.
Minimum Education
Required minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
Combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Licensure/Certifications
Preferred: Certification on Tucker/ Equipment operation
Qualifications
Required:
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Manufacturing, production or distribution experience.
Preferred:
- Certification on forklift operation, industrial forklift a plus.
