Compass Health & Cocoon House Program – Monroe &Everett, WA


Compass Health is currently looking for a Child & Family Therapist who is interested in providing excellent clinical care to children/youth who are residents at Cocoon House East County teen shelter and other Cocoon sites as part of the Everett Child and Family team.

This role works in collaboration with both the Cocoon House team at the teen shelter in Monroe and Everett and the Child and Family Team of Compass Health in Everett. As a member of the Cocoon House team, you will empower young people, families, and communities to break the cycle of homelessness. As a part of the Everett Child and Family Team you will work with a fun and supportive group who take pride in providing high quality care to clients.

The Everett Child and Family Team can provide weekly individual supervision for licensure with an LICSW, LMFT or LMHC dependent on your supervisory needs.


What you will be performing

The Child & Family Therapist provides a range of clinically indicated services for behavioral health conditions including but not limited to: individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and case management services. Your role will be to assess client/family functioning and needs, provide clinical consultation to Cocoon House staff, partner with the staff and the client to develop a care plan designed to address the client/family’s goals during their involvement with specific Cocoon programs, and support discharge planning as needed.


What you will be carrying along

  • MA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science related field.
  • Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC.

WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION:

The primary work locations in Monroe and Everett with the Cocoon House team, with the added benefit of participation in clinical supervision, staff meetings and case consultation meetings with the Everett Child and Family team.

Parents of teens can also find support for themselves and their families at Cocoon House so that young people do not become homeless.
