Accounts Receivable Specialist Job at Diversified Foodservice Supply, LLC
The AR Specialist at DFS is a dynamic customer facing. This position works directly under the supervision of the AR Manager and works to insure the receivables for a specific portfolio are collected and the DSO is within the corporate guidelines.
Primary Job Duties
· Manage and monitor a Portfolio of Customer Accounts for a specific Channel of Customers.
§ Insure past due receivables >31 days are collected
§ Determine Release / Non-release status of pending orders
§ Review past due balances, credit limits, account notes, customer payment history.
§ Assist with the management of the AR Inbox
§ Review of accounts for AR Offsets, cash offsets, refunds and adjustments
§ Review and manage the Cash Applications Exception Report
§ Process Credit Card Payments
§ Work directly with internal customer service and sales teams to insure timely collections efforts and credit memo processing.
§ Perform account reconciliations
§ Research and resolve payment discrepancies
§ Generate age analysis/reports
· Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
· Manage customer portals and data
· Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Competencies Needed
· Must have 2+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivables
· Intermediate to Advanced Excel needed
o Pivot tables, VLookup knowledge preferred
· Microsoft Office Suite
o Outlook
o Word
· Critical Thinking and strong problem solving skills
· Strong communication skills
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Organized with the ability to multi-task when needed
· Customer service mindset
· Results oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.11 - $22.50 per hour
