Salary Range: $72,400-$82,400

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Well-being Program Manager will manage and support the growth and development of wellness strategies across the medical center. Under the direction of the Executive Director of well-being for staff this role will utilize established tools and methodologies to support the design and implementation of health and well-being programs for the medical center’s workforce population.

The scope of the mentioned strategies involves developing curriculum with the goal of improving workplace well-being and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

Program Development & Management

Develops curriculum for all workforce well-being programming and activities. Helps develop innovative learning and reference materials, program outlines, facilitator guides, and creative activities.

Supports tracking, auditing, and enhancement efforts in the appropriate systems, including the reporting of attendance/utilization.

Continually analyzes programming needs to propose new programs, identifies potential gaps and increases impact to employees and the organization.

Conducts analysis of all program evaluations to recommend modifications and improvements.

Participates in recruiting, developing, and maintaining an internal network of end-users to support ongoing workforce well-being transformative work.

Maintains knowledge of evidence-based interventions and industry standards to deliver high quality programming for employee and workplace wellbeing.

Participates in conducting impact analyses, creating mitigation strategies, and identifying key stakeholders, in alignment with the organization’s well-being strategy.

Participates in client meetings, prepares meeting materials and minutes, conducts follow-up as needed.

Researches applies and communicates workplace well-being best practices and helps develop appropriate transition plans to move the institution towards accomplishing the organization’s goals.

Travels to practices/sites to interact with clients by providing onsite presentations, conducts surveys, and performs additional tasks as needed.

Leverages technology solutions to solve key inefficiencies and create opportunities to streamline and improve existing/new processes.

Works closely with Communications team to leverage communication tools, market programming, develop branding and achieve outreach to target audiences.

Interfaces with external vendors to produce innovative and high-quality solutions and ensures delivery of contracted services/programming in a timely and efficient manner.

Strategy

Monitors and reports on key metrics of progression toward goals, makes recommendations to adjust strategy and programs to achieve desired goals.

Develops initiatives and methods to drive, enhance, and measure engagement and employee adoption.

Research trends and solutions - report on opportunities for optimization.

Maintains productive and collaborative relationships with stakeholders to deliver on strategies that increase and sustain employee engagement.

Participates on project work groups and subcommittees.

People

Promotes staff professionalism and performance with coaching, training and feedback. Mentors others in individual and team accountability, modeling behavior and demonstrating best practices/techniques.

Establishes and manages relationships with stakeholders. Collaborates with colleagues, peers, and leaders to build a well-being culture within the employee lifecycle to reach established goals.

Other

Keeps current on all organizational, regulatory compliance and patient privacy trainings policies (e.g. infection control, public safety, EH&S, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.) and successfully complete all required trainings.

Ensures compliance for a safe and secure work environment at all sites by following all OSHA, EH&S and public safety policies and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent of education and experience.

Minimum of 4 years of related experience.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Demonstrated proficiency in project management skills including planning and executing project activities with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated proficiency and/or understanding of data sets; extract, evaluate, clean, and summarize; conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis and validation as applicable to areas of responsibility.

Excellent organizational skills, time management and the ability to work independently, set priorities among multiple competing objectives, tasks and initiatives.

Demonstrated proficiency in problem assessment, and resolution and collaborative problem solving in complex, and interdisciplinary settings.

Ability to work collaboratively with a culturally diverse staff and patient/family population, demonstrating empathy, respect and flexibility.

Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. This position requires the ability to interact positively, constructively and effectively with patients, professional staff, providers and organizational stakeholders.

Working proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software is required and an ability and willingness to learn new systems and programs.

Must be a motivated individual with a positive mindset and exceptional work ethic.

Must successfully complete systems training requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred.

Prior experience in employee-centered services is a plus.
