Welder (1st shift) Job at Shick Esteve
Shick Esteve is looking for an experienced Welder to work full-time in the Sheet Metal Department. Work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm. Any overtime is typically scheduled for Fridays. Candidate must be able to work the stated schedule and overtime hours as required.
A successful weld test is required as part of the candidate screening process.
Qualifications include:
- Experience with MIG and TIG processes.
- Familiar with roll forming/press break operations.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or military environment preferred, with demonstrated ability to work with limited guidance.
- Ability to read blueprints with knowledge of welding symbols.
- Ability to produce consistent, quality welds.
- Prior welding experience with carbon steel and stainless steel highly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly as well as climb stairs/ladders.
