Minimum qualifications:

  • 20 years of professional experience, including 10 years of product management leadership of a technology products (e.g., Search).
  • Experience managing a product team in the technology industry.
  • Experience in Ads and technology (e.g., AI/ML, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in Search, Personalization, Applied ML, or digital advertising products.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to navigate complex and rapidly shifting environments.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.

About the job

In this role, you will help remove bad ads, enhance privacy safe methods, and create a simple and equitable auction and bidding process. You will report to the Vice President and General Manager, you will also work cross-functionally with Search Ads formats and optimization, Query Growth, Auction and Prediction Stack, Search Ads Automation, and Retail Ads.

The US base salary for this full-time position is $550,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

  • Set the overarching product strategy and execution of key step change opportunities and key enablers for Search Ads and Google Ads.
  • Oversee the delivery and impact from key roadmap items to ensure impact from the organization keeping delivery and expectations.
  • Own responsibility for technical areas of Search Ads formats and optimization, Query Growth, Auction and Prediction Stack, Search Ads Automation, and Retail Ads.
  • Manage and mentor a high performing Product Management team and Data Scientists.
  • Help the Vice President of Engineering manage all aspects of running the Search business including Profit and Loss.
