Vice President, Product Management, Search Ads Job at Google
Minimum qualifications:
- 20 years of professional experience, including 10 years of product management leadership of a technology products (e.g., Search).
- Experience managing a product team in the technology industry.
- Experience in Ads and technology (e.g., AI/ML, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in Search, Personalization, Applied ML, or digital advertising products.
- Ability to work in a team environment to navigate complex and rapidly shifting environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
About the job
In this role, you will help remove bad ads, enhance privacy safe methods, and create a simple and equitable auction and bidding process. You will report to the Vice President and General Manager, you will also work cross-functionally with Search Ads formats and optimization, Query Growth, Auction and Prediction Stack, Search Ads Automation, and Retail Ads.

The US base salary for this full-time position is $550,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
- Set the overarching product strategy and execution of key step change opportunities and key enablers for Search Ads and Google Ads.

Oversee the delivery and impact from key roadmap items to ensure impact from the organization keeping delivery and expectations.
- Own responsibility for technical areas of Search Ads formats and optimization, Query Growth, Auction and Prediction Stack, Search Ads Automation, and Retail Ads.
- Manage and mentor a high performing Product Management team and Data Scientists.
- Help the Vice President of Engineering manage all aspects of running the Search business including Profit and Loss.
