User Generated Content (UGC) Creator - Social Media Job at Fan Controlled Sports + Entertainment
Job Summary
The User Generated Content Creator will create content for FCSE and find ways to represent the organization’s brand across a multitude of social media channels through UGC. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the UGC Creator is also responsible for interactions on social channels, keeping players, fans, celebrities and influencers engaged, working to drive interactions across all platforms. You’ll be confident on-camera shooting content from your personal perspective (hence the UGC), yet also representing the brand in your social presence. You’ll interact heavily with other members of the marketing team, athletes, owners and team members in a wide variety of different ways. This role is required to be based in Atlanta, GA, due to the level of in-person interaction required.
Responsibilities
- Curate and create social-first content to live across platforms (particularly Instagram + Tiktok) with support from our in-house creative + production team.
- Serve as an on-the-ground social producer during shoots and/or events as needed
- Partner with the social and creative teams to ideate, source, and create original real-time content for FCSE's audience, identifying trends at the cusp of virality to help grow awareness and build community for the league and team brand(s)
- Collaborate with relevant influencers’ (Fan Capt, Players, Coaches, ambassadors, micro influencers) social channels that will help tell the narrative of the FCSE sports.
- Interacting with fans, players and influencers through FCSE league & team social channels, website, email, etc with a goal of curating a highly engaged community of fans around each team.
- Assist with nurturing influencer relationships as well as partnering to integrate UGC and Creator content into FCSE TikTok strategy
- Maintain our brand voice in content created including writing and publishing blog posts, on-video pieces, social polls, etc
- Collaborate with Social Media Coordinators, Consultants and Marketing Managers
- Attend daily and weekly meetings with other Marketing team members
- Attend all FCSE games (FCHoops, FCF, etc.) and serve as a face of the brand to social audiences
Experience
- 2+ years of on-camera experience with an entertainment, sports or media organization
- Demonstrated ability to create content that is appealing to a wide variety of audiences, and demonstrated growth of audience as a result of that engaging content
- Prior experience personally using Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube with a strong existing presence
- Knowledgeable in various scheduling or content planning tools/platforms
- Knowledge and Interest in the sports or entertainment industry
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and independently
- Experience working in an organization with ambiguity
