The Opportunity

As the Manager, US Domestic Talent Acquisition , you will lead a team responsible for identifying, selecting, and recruiting candidates for positions in the Abt’s US Domestic Division, supporting Departments, and global Capability Organization. You will be a strategic partner to business leaders, as you develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and programs that will attract talent to Abt to drive business goals. As a key leader in talent acquisition, you will be a strong advocate for creating an inclusive and equitable candidate experience, reflective of Abt’s values.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manages US domestic talent acquisition team and initiatives, implementing improvements to processes, including sourcing and selection, ensuring Abt is able to attract a diverse candidate pool from traditional and on-traditional channels
  • Works with business leaders to ensure timely understanding of talent needs, both current and future; evaluates these needs, and provide advice as appropriate
  • Directs and motivates staff to maximize contributions
  • Develops team through coaching, balancing business needs and career goals
  • Manages and improves recruitment best practices, centering equity and inclusion in everything
  • Establish, analyze, and communicate metrics to identify areas of improvement
  • Drives the hiring process including but not limited to screening, setting up interviews, offer and background checks.
    • Employs a variety of standard and specialized sourcing techniques to identify a high-quality diverse candidate pool
    • Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring managers for interviews. Provide screening for manager to ensure applicants meet required and desired qualifications based upon job requisitions
  • Ensure candidate applications are complete with necessary information for client review and acceptance. Work with candidates to ensure they understand the recruitment and compensation systems
  • Works with Hiring managers to develop and extend equitable offers of employment to selected candidates within the guidelines of Abt’s employment policies and procedures
  • Creates and fosters relationships with key associations, industry specific organizations, and other resources and to attract top candidates to Abt
  • Promotes Abt’s image (employer brand) and Employee Value Proposition
  • Ensures applicable activities are in compliance with OCFFP, EEO and Affirmative Action Plans

What We Value

  • Manager: Bachelor’s Degree + 9 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + 7 years of relevant experience
  • Senior Manager: Bachelor’s Degree + 12 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + 10 years of relevant experience
  • Established success leading a team through ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work in deadline-drive, fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, organizing, planning, and executing Talent Acquisition initiatives and programs
  • Experience working with a diverse group of colleagues and external candidates
  • Established track record of consulting with hiring managers and/or business leaders in all matter relating to talent acquisition
  • Understanding of government contracting is preferred
  • US work authorization is required

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $100,000 to $150,000, and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
