Production Operator Job at ICL Group
ICL has two manufacturing plants in the Greater Charleston, South Carolina area. One plant is in North Charleston and the other is in Summerville. This position will report to the North Charleston facility but will be required to help at the Summerville facility as needed. These facilities coat and manufacture controlled-release fertilizer brands Osmocote®, Agroblen®, and Agrocote®. Our fertilizers at these sites are distributed nationally to commercial clientele within the specialty agriculture and horticulture sectors. As the Developmental Operator, you are responsible for operating the automatic bagger, palletizer, and hand-add station as well as assisting the Operators, learning the process, loading/unloading trucks, cycling counting material, and maintaining a clean and organized packaging area. In this role, you are expected to communicate with other shifts, maintenance, and QA personnel.
Payrate: $19.00/hour

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work all shifts, some weekends, and provide shift coverage as necessary.
- Can lift 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis.
- Good communication skills and the capability of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to solve basic mathematical problems, demonstrate mechanical aptitude, and be proficient in utilizing a computer.
- Ability to work at our Summerville, South Carolina plant on an as-needed basis.
What will set me apart?
- 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment or related industry
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment a related field
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Prior DCS/HMI experience.
- Inventory experience

Annual Bonus Target: 3%, subject to plan provisions
