System Administrator (Local Colorado Remote) Job at SunPlus Data Group, Inc.
SunPlus Data Group is looking for a System Administrator to work for a State Government facility in Denver, CO.
This is for 12 months to start and is likely to extend
Hours are generally M-F, 40 hrs/week
Pay is $63/hr W2 hourly or $70/hr 1099 (CTC)
**(THIS POSITION IS 100% REMOTE/COLORADO CANDIDATES ONLY, MANDATORY WITH NO EXCEPTIONS) **
It usually takes the State Government about 1-3 weeks to start interviews, just so you know the timeframe. The first interview will usually be via phone or WebEx.
Job Summary:
The State of CO is seeking a System Administrator with documented experience. The System Administrator will consolidate server/system information from multiple spreadsheets into a single Configuration Management system.
- Have an excellent command of Excel, Google, or other similar spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to navigate Windows and Linus servers to gather information about basic configuration such as server names, network addresses, running processes, and others.
- Ability to physically interact with enterprise-class hardware in a data center setting to gather information about connectivity, access, location, and others.
- Basic VMware vCenter skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret the collected data to provide counts, trends, and suggestions.
- Social skills to interact with users at many levels to provide or gather information.
- Excellent written skills in producing reports.
