POSITION OVERVIEW

The purpose of this effort is to provide a full range of Intelligence Training support for the Personnel Recovery Intelligence community assigned to the 347 Rescue Group (RQG) at Moody AFB, GA. The mission of the 347 Operations Support Squadron (OSS) is to organize, train, and equip members to rapidly mobilize, deploy and employ, providing combat and peacetime search and rescue in support of U.S. national security interests.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, and / or deliver training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards
  • Provide lesson plans / presentations / curricula in support of educational goals and maintains materiel within the assigned educational system (i.e. AGILE, Training Development Capability (TDC), etc.)
  • Review emerging policy and doctrine publications, provide feedback, and assess for incorporation into training products
  • Develop / maintain training records and tracking systems as required or designated by the Government
  • Maintain training records for all 347 RQG intelligence personnel
  • Instruct and maintain Mission Qualification Training (MQT) curriculum and training material
  • Instruct and maintain Continuation Training (CT) curriculum and training material
  • Maintain awareness of current and developing adversary Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs). Have the knowledge and expertise to recommend TTPs
  • Work with military and civilian personnel in execution of 347 RQG intelligence goals
  • Coordinate with, and support, intelligence requirements for group and wing level exercises


SPECIFIC TASKS:

  • Implement effective and relevant training. Develop applicable courseware for qualification and certification of capabilities identified within the subtasks and deliver established training to Government, military, and contract personnel on operational capabilities and areas of expertise. Courseware development shall include, but not be limited to; GEOINT, Multi-INT intelligence, targeting and analysis tradecraft and mission systems, SIGINT and NTI, intelligence support for all ACC-managed flying and ground AF mission-specific systems, Weather, and Cyber operations in accordance with the following criteria:
  • Maintain currency on emerging capabilities and associated TTPs and modify courseware as needed
  • Maintain currency on analytical tool developments by the Intelligence Community (IC) and industry to train analysts on the latest tactics, techniques, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of assigned tasks/mission
  • Develop and maintain all training and courseware and execution in accordance with appropriate DOD, Joint, and Service Air Force Instructions (AFIs) and other policy and guidance
  • Support instruction, materials development, course maintenance, and other MQT administrative management functions, as necessary
  • Present/instruct MQT course academics, support and attend MAJCOM-sponsored training requirements forums, and support associated/parent unit training programs as required to maintain currency on Mission Design Series operations, and associated intelligence support (between MQT courses)
  • Implement effective and relevant training to ACC Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Airmen on all new capabilities including Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRC) fielded by system program offices, including, but not limited to, Big Safari System Program Office (SPO), Kessel Run, National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and others
  • Coordinate with 347 OSS/OSK, as appropriate, for exercise scenario development for 347 RQG exercises requirements


QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; OR have bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 15 years, as a substitute to the Master's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Maintain at least a Tier -5 Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance at time of awards
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements
  • Demonstrate mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology
  • Demonstrate ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks
  • Demonstrate in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrate ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products
