ES Application Architect – This role is within the Enterprise Services team that supports Legacy SOAP API’s that are used by company’s critical applications (such as Online Banking and Mobile app), multiple applications (Alerts, Next Most Likely/Financial Insights, Offers, Entitlements, Event Hub, Query Hub, and API Gateway), and will be responsible for working with internal and external partners to design solutions for the systems supported by Enterprise Services.

Detailed Description:

· Adhere to structured development lifecycle methodology

· Develop, Drive & Maintain Enterprise Services Roadmap and best practices

· Contribute to Future Product Roadmaps

· Deliver integration solution architecture based on business requirements and overall solution from solution architect

· Be the SME in the for the Product Streams/Applications within Enterprise Services. Continuously pursue expertise in these platforms and keep up to date with latest vendor developments. Asses the current direction of Huntington’s utilization of these platforms and provide recommendations on how to best apply their capabilities.

· Ensure ES solutions align with Huntington’s Target State Architecture

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of architecture experience
• Proficient in SOA architecture and standards.
• Requires expert grasp of structured development methodology, i.e. RUP/Use Cases, Agile Development, etc.
• Strong analytic, problem solving, decision-making skills and proven ability to discern critical from minor problems
• Strong interpersonal skills in areas such as facilitation, negotiation, and the ability to work with internal customers and vendors
• Well-developed written/verbal communication skills, planning and organizational skills are required. Must possess the ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision and work well under pressure. Ability to coordinate activities with other technical staff and contractors as required
• Must be able to adapt to a variety of assignments and manage several projects and deadlines. Proven ability to scope/size projects
• Experience creating and implementing Web Services (SOAP and ReST) and micro services
• Extensive experience in XSLT, XML, WSDL, ReST, WebSphere MQ, and Application development (Java/J2EE, .Net)
• Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with solutioning applications to run on Cloud (GCP, AWS)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
