Security Guard Job at iStaffing
iStaffing has a client in the city of Santa Ana looking for a Security Guard 2nd shift position.
SHIFT: 12:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. 8:00 hrs. (when shift working 8+ hrs. – Saturdays)
BASIC DAILY DUTIES
- Bag inspection between shifts (going out) at breaks and end of shift (going out), observant that no one is taking, wearing co. printed apparel.
- 30 minutes before end of 1st shift … perimeter (back/side/front) building check (including bushes!).
- Traffic control between shifts
- Ensure that NO ONE (vendors, applicants, etc.) enters the building without being announced (or escorted) -vendors, clients, governmental authorities, etc.
- Visitors generally come in through lobby (requires to be announced by use of Kiosk)
- Continued perimeter surveillance – outside/entire parking lot
- Daily, periodic walks inside of building for visibility and to identify obvious safety issues.
- Ensure that back of the building rollup door is closed (warehouse is responsible for this).
- Must be understanding of employees but at the same time, follow the company rules. Should anyone not cooperate, do not have conflict with them, take their name and report them to HR (via phone).
- Check in with HR … 2 times during shift AM and PM
- Maintain a daily log
- Additional tasks may be added
- Wear Co. issued security vest
- Requires calm attitude … NOT to be confrontational with trespassers .. be prepared to walk away and call 911.
- Must be available for Saturday OT
Requirements
-MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A SECURITY GUARD
-MUST LIVE LOCAL
-MUST HAVE AN OPEN SCHEDULE
-BILINGUAL (SPANISH/ENGLISH)
