Security Account Managers are professionals who organize and oversee the security operations of their assigned sites. They oversee controlling budgets for security operations and monitoring expenses. They are accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned account, working with HR on hiring, training, disciplining, and terminating staff. Build, improve and maintain relationships with clients and employees, develop & retain staff; coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account. Accountable on financial & operational goals; provide quality customer service. Maintains or oversees maintenance of weekly operating schedules and completion of payroll time sheets and recaps for assigned security personnel. Provides after-hour emergency response as required.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Serves as a key point of contact for the client to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for assigned account; evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner.
  • Meets regularly with client representatives for status updates; addresses any actual or potential problems; assists line management in negotiation of client contract; provides support during client start-up; supports security planning, assessments, and surveys; review and update post orders.
  • Prepares and coordinates staffing schedules for account, in collaboration with line management as necessary; ensure scheduling is handled effectively to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs; review Security Officer site reports to verify post orders and client directives have been satisfactorily followed; personally, inspects all posts as part the evaluation of security staff.
  • Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures and ensure team members understand and comply.
  • Maintain and submit payroll records and other associate and business information.
  • Supervise the day-to-day security operations of assigned site
  • Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support
  • Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
  • Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
  • Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
  • Ensures and enforces all Laws, rules, and Company Polices within the scope of his/her authority
  • Determine and manage resources to meet objectives in an effective and efficient manner
Additional Functions
  • Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met.
  • Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime.
  • Communicating with leadership to keep the project aligned with company goals.
  • Use of spread sheets and tracking tools to monitor short falls and opportunities
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.
  • Communicate staffing requirements in a timely manner, assist in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality officers.
  • Assure communication of policies, company announcements, and post orders are provided and understood by entire staff on site.
