Summary:
The CaptiveAire rotational engineer program offers the opportunity to experience different avenues of engineering: sales, R&D and manufacturing within our company. This is not an internship; it is full-time employment in which the first year is a formal rotational program with the goal of placement in a permanent role at the end of the year.

In this role, engineers will be exposed to different areas of our business and will work on a variety of projects with assignments that enhance product knowledge and experience while also allowing you to understand our business challenges, go to market strategy and company mission: delivering the highest quality products and service at the lowest possible price.


Program Structure:

  • R&D Rotation in St. George, UT (4 months)
    • Training and exposure to R&D processes out of office
    • Assigned project work with the applications engineering team
    • Will go to R&D facility in PA for 1-2 weeks
  • Manufacturing Rotation in Redding, CA (4 months)
      • 6 weeks on the manufacturing floor
      • Assigned engineering project related to quality or process improvement
  • Sales and Field Service Rotation in Centennial, CO (4 months)
    • Sales: Sales strategies, presentations, quotes/designs, customer service
    • Service: Field troubleshooting, system start-ups, CORE Fire System installations

Requirements:

  • Future graduate (May 2023) of a four-year technical degree program in a mechanical, electrical, construction or physics oriented curriculum
  • Desire for a sales, manufacturing or design engineering role
  • Attained a 3.0 or great GPA (out of 4.0 scale)
  • Must have US citizenship or permanent residency with authorization to work
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and background process
  • Excellent computer, organizational and communication/presentation skills
  • Passion for work with aggressive nature to succeed
  • MUST BE A"GO GETTER"!
