PER DIEM – VARIABLE DAYS – WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS: AS NEEDED
Under supervision of the Nurse Manager, the Telephonic Triage Nurse is responsible for triaging and scheduling incoming calls, assessing patient’s needs and advising when to seek immediate care. The Telephonic Triage Nurse will provide health education using judgment and following organizational policy.
- Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing
- Three (3) years of nursing experience in telephonic triage or the Emergency Department.
- Second language fluency preferred, i.e. Spanish, Creole and Portuguese.
- State of Florida Registered Nurse
- HCP-CPR
- Basic computer proficiency and electronic documentation skills required.
