Quality Control Inspector Job at Lyneer Staffing Solutions
Our client, America's largest integrated grower, shipper and packer of fresh citrus in Delano, CA is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. You will be ensuring the quality of the product and maintaining documentation updated. There are several shifts available in this position. Your day:
- Separates product into defect categories according to USDA definition
- Uses scales, moisture meters, sample splitters, and other tools
- Maintains accurate sample identity
- Fast paced team environment
- Assists supervisor in other tasks as needed
- Great attention to detail and follows procedures as trained
- Perform other job duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager
About You:
- Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety
- Works effectively with teams and work groups
- Walk, stand for periods of time at workstation, climb stairs, and reach with hands and arms
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated by the company
Pay Rate and Shift:
- Various shifts available
- $15.50 an hour
