PT/OT Charge Entry Job at Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists
Work Week: Monday – Friday – WFH after training
Job Responsibilities / Knowledge:
This position requires a broad knowledge of payer rules, medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, coding edits, and insurance contracts.
Responsibilities include charge entry for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy visits.
Communicates well with coworkers and clinicians. Maintains the strictest confidentiality.
Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, prioritizes duties, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines.
Does various other duties as directed by the billing managers, supervisors, or team leads.
Monday – Friday – 40 hrs per week 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (with some flexibility) Eligible for WFH after training period
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-year experience, preferably in charge of entry or coding.
