We are currently searching for a full-time Gender Based Violence Rapid Rehousing Program Supervisor to join our Calumet team!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Supervises and coordinates all aspects of the programs including items related to service, community groups and personnel matters.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality and quantity of services. Keeps abreast of client service needs and participates in planning for them.
  • Responsible for all personnel matters within program including hiring, employee relations, performance improvement, assigning, and terminating of staff. Identifies for manager, leadership potential of program staff.
  • Assures appropriate integrations of multi-service, multi-disciplinary, and systems approach to program.
  • Develops and maintains contacts with community groups relating to program needs.
  • Works collaboratively with community agencies, organizations, and institutions.
  • Create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Agency’s mission, vision, guiding principles/code of ethics, and values.
  • Complete the required narrative and quarterly/annual reports for partners and funder.
  • Ensure organization and use of technology to support managing the various components of program, including tracking deliverables, services and outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work or related field, required.
  • Masters’ degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field, preferred.
  • Five years of post-bachelor’s degree experience in program industry related field, required.
  • Experience in providing leadership in community-based programming with targeted group.
  • Employment with MFS requires proof of vaccination or an approved medical exemption, required.
  • Knowledge if VAWA and housing services, preferred.
  • 40 Hour DV certificate, preferred.
  • Strategic thinking and innovative leadership skills with demonstrated ability to successfully manage a team.
  • Ability to establish rapport and relate to persons across multicultural groups.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to relate to a wide range of issues, people, and institutions.
  • Proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have access to a vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance to perform essential job function, required.
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation and be able to commute to various settings to deliver program services and/or meet with clients.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • MFS staff are required to provide proof of vaccination or have an approved medical exemption prior to starting employment. If an approved medical exemption is obtained, weekly testing is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

SALARY:

  • Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The average salary for the position is $62,000
