This position will work closely with the Operations team on a project(s) that require experience in engineering, project management, estimating, trade coordination, code compliance, supervision, and journeyman craftsman. This individual will serve as a technical resource for the quality and completeness of design documents and construction of a project(s) while maintaining a proper balance between the profitability of the company and the achievement of total customer satisfaction. • To assist/ensure throughout the project life cycle that the (MEP) systems are planned, installed, energized, commissioned, and turned over according to the plans, specifications, contract documents, and codes and standards.
• Lead or contribute to the mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and life safety systems drawing coordination process.
• Monitor and inspect the work in place and quality of work continually for compliance with the design documents, codes, and standards; witness and/or verify appropriate system and component testing.
• Review specific MEP submittals for compliance with the contract documents prior to forwarding them to the design professionals for formal review and approval on an as-needed basis.
• Regularly review and inspect the subcontractors’ as-built drawings to ensure the work is current and in compliance with design documents.
• Review major MEP shutdowns and assist in the authoring of shutdown plans and/or requests as required by the project team.
• Review the design documents and document in written format for review by the owner/representative for coordination between disciplines, A/E errors and omissions, code compliance, and compliance with the owner’s program (if known).
• Survey existing MEP conditions (in the field) for comparison to the design documents, in a written format acceptable to Operations management, and advise of any identified risks associated with different conditions or errors and omissions.
• Assist in determining the schedule durations of major MEP work for incorporation into the overall project schedule.
• Assist the estimation group or project team in budgeting special systems or difficult MEP construction sequencing.

Salary - $84,000.00 - $119,139.00
