Anticipated Schedule: 4 days/week from 8:30am-5pm and 1 day/week from 12:45pm-9:15pm; 40 hours/week, Full-Time position

Position Summary:
Deliver high quality service to our diverse members, guests, and program participants. Respond to member and guest needs, promote memberships and programs, process financial transactions, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the Welcome Center and other areas of the facility. Provide on boarding and ongoing training including process improvement for the Welcome Center and staff. Create staff schedules and provide department administrative support as needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Model and provide quality service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member engagement and retention
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales cycle (introduction/probing/close)
  • Address and resolve membership concerns
  • Apply all YMCA policies, practices and procedures ensuring a positive member experience
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Ensure proper implementation of Welcome Center procedures
  • Train member engagement representatives to effectively and accurately use constituent software
  • Review, update, and relay branch information to staff
  • Coordinate with the business office as necessary on financial transactions
  • Ability to engage and interact with a wide range of personalities with an upbeat, high energy attitude
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Minimum age 18

  • Basic computer skills/knowledge required
  • Fluency in second language desired

Availability: 4 days/week from 8:30am-5pm and 1 day/week from 12:45pm-9:15pm; 40 hours/week, Full-Time position

Per Washington State law, we disclose the full range of the pay grade for this position which is $16.75-$24.15.
