We are looking for experience Med Tech for our evening shift (3pm-11pm) and overnight shift (11pm-7am) with at least a minimum 1 year of experience with Med Pass in long term care setting. Experience with memory and dementia care care is a must. CNA license is a big plus.
Applicant must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 including with up to date booster as a condition of employment!!!

As the Medication Technician, (can be also called RP) you are responsible for administering or assisting residents with administer medications and treatments. You are also responsible for communicating with physicians, implementing physician's orders, report and document pertinent information, and other duties as assigned by the health services supervisor. Additionally, Medication Technicians work as the on-floor supervisor so we are looking for individuals with a proven ability to lead teams and supervise a team of caregivers/CNA.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age
  • Prior experience with Medication Administration preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to pass criminal background and drug test
  • Love for seniors and willingness to learn
  • Previous experience in a long term care facility preferred
  • Previous experience with dementia care
  • Current certification as a CNA/Medical Assistant/Med Tech is preferred

All prospective employees will be subject to successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen. A positive pre-employment result for THC may be allowed in states where medical or recreational use of marijuana is legal.
