Peebles Golf Cars has been an authorized Club Car distributor for over 40 years in Central and Southeast Virginia. Business is growing and we are looking to add to our team.
We are currently seeking an experienced golf car mechanic for our Charlottesville location near Zion Crossroads. The successful candidate will have experience in diagnosing and repairing both gas and electric golf cars, small engines or powersport vehicles.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Positive "Can Do" attitude
- Responsible for trouble shooting and repair of gas and electric golf cars and utility vehicles of all makes and models.
- Assembling and preparing golf cars for retail and commercial sales.
- Welding and fabrication (i.e. lift kits, stretch jobs, etc.) is a plus.
- Delivery of sale, rental, and service golf cars. Must be able to pull a 24-foot trailer. The ability to pull a 40-foot trailer is a plus.
- Billable service work, warranty repair, rental repair, mechanical work on golf course fleets, sale cars, and new car preparation.
- Keep a clean workspace.
- Properly and neatly fill out and complete company work orders.
- Maintenance and care for company vehicles and trailers.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude while representing Peebles Golf Cars.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must have own tools and transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have valid Driver’s License.
Typical Hours:
Monday – Friday
8:00AM – 4:30PM
Pay:
$17 - $25 per hour.
Full-time position. 40 hours per week.
Pay based on relative experience.
