Agrati, Inc. is a world-class manufacturer of automotive fasteners. Valparaiso, IN facility is looking for 1 or more individuals who have experience operating sit-down forklifts.

Essential Functions: Responsible for daily operation of mobile equipment to support operational needs. Complies with all EH&S policies and procedures. Performs work accurately and efficiently in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturing Instructions, TS/ISO Procedures and other relevant documents. Shows a commitment to Agrati Production Systems (APS), employee involvement, and continuous improvement..

Specific Responsibilities Include:

1. Daily operation of mobile equipment including all required inspections.

2. Provides support of materials to production

3. Removes finished goods and places in designated areas

4. Moves bins to next operation as required

5.. Maintains bin cleanliness to prevent contamination

6. Unloads material from trailers

7. Completes required documentation

8. Ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions and communicate in English.

9. Performs other duties as assigned.

10 Prefer experience in moving tubs filled with product; position in tub holders several feet in air.

Note: must be flexible as to either 1st or 2nd Shift placement; must be able to work any required mandatory overtime.

Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands:

1. Able to use mobile equipment devices.

2. Licensed tow motor operator

3. Able to reach above shoulder, bend, climb and stoop.

4. Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

5. Able to lift/carry up to 35 pounds, possibly on a repetitive basis.

6. Able to wear personal protective equipment in areas where applicable and/or dictated by task

7. May need to climb 3'-9' steps/ladders throughout the day.
