Overview:
The Marketing and Events Coordinator, reporting onsite, will support the Marketing Team with the tactical execution, coordination, and distribution of marketing communications, advertising, promotions, campaigns, community events initiatives, and efforts in alignment with corporate goals and objectives. This role will assist in the coordination and development of marketing materials for branches and special events. They will assist with the distribution and display of marketing materials at the branches, coordinate, facilitate, and attend credit union events, and handle many of the department’s administrative functions. This role is critical to the brand’s success in building positive, long-term and meaningful relationships by making emotional connections with our members, employees, and community partners.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations as well as Credit Union policies and procedures:

  • Support for all marketing collateral and content marketing in development for traditional, online, and social media platforms
  • Manage a network of branch contacts to assist with marketing materials at branch locations
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of all credit union and community events such as the annual meeting, ribbon cuttings, all-staff meetings, community and philanthropic events, grand openings, and promotional/branch events
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the marketing department as requested such as invoice submission and tracking, mail merge, scanning, copying, filing, spreadsheet management, photos/photo upload, expense reports, etc.
  • Organizes and coordinates ordering and inventory of promotional items, event items, retail merchandising, retail signage, props, awards, etc.
  • Assist in the creation of department and organizational presentations for staff meetings, board reports, annual reports/meetings, etc.
  • Generate adhoc reports as requested
  • Provide overall support to the department’s functions and processes, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and timely to meet deadlines
  • Tracks and files all media coverage, promotion & campaign elements, department assets, and more as needed.
  • Official tracking of industry awards related to department efforts
  • Manage and book department and third party partners for on-site/off-site events, travel, calendar logistics, meetings, teambuilding, etc.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in related field, including Marketing, Communications, Journalism, related field, or relevant equivalent experience. 1-2+ years marketing communications experience in an administrative support role.

Salary Range: $19.54-$29.31
