Job Title: Maintenance & Facilities Technician
Reports to: Manager of Corporate Security / Loss Prevention / Facilities / Fleet Management
Salary Range: $22-26 per hour
Location: Denver, CO (may require site visits to Colorado retail, cultivation, and MFG facilities).

Position Objective:
The Maintenance Technician oversees, coordinates, and maintains facilities for all Schwazze retail and cultivation sites. The Maintenance Tech will be expected to perform repairs and periodic services to equipment and facilities throughout the Colorado network. This role will be expected to work with a continuous improvement mindset while identifying and maintaining our standards of retail appearance, with a commitment to our customers and internal partner’s safety and security.
The Maintenance Technician supports designated leadership with the daily operations of all retail and cultivation locations. This includes all maintenance and repair, basic carpentry and metal work, operating, maintaining and repairing all facility system equipment associated with HVAC operations and mechanical and electrical systems. The technician will also respond to customer requests and submit and close work orders as necessary and perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, clean facilities and managing maintenance repairs.•
Perform repairs on company machinery, equipment, or appliances.•
Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.•
Regularly check community spaces to identify issues with litter, mechanical failure, or breakdowns.•
Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.•
Repair plumbing, electrical and safety systems.•
Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks.•
Oversee the sprinkler system and trash containers on the company premises.•
Provide clients with support and guidance on maintaining their equipment.•
Paint, guttering, trim, Sheetrock repair and replacement.•
General household repair including plumbing, Sheetrock, painting, decking and fencing etc.•
Mow lawns.•
Handle a variety of jobs ranging from small individual repairs to bathroom installs and ac unit repairs.•
Fix drywall, electrical panels in houses, central ac units, •
Complete bathroom remodels including demo of existing material, plumbing, boarding, and installation of new material.•
Perform commercial handyman services, including carpentry, remodeling, installations, minor plumbing, masonry, and tile work.•
General contracting and home repairs including flooring, windows, roofing, gutter installation, plumbing electrical, new builds.•
Experience in carpentry, plumbing, roofing, mechanics, maintenance, masonry, repair, remodeling, landscaping and more.•
Paint and maintain parking lot striping.•
Renovate commercial properties including carpet installation, HVAC equipment installation, and other household appliances.•
Complete commercial projects including painting, electrical, HVAC installation, and furniture repair/refinish.•
Perform maintenance and repairs to facility industrial and plant equipment.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.•
A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role.•
Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems.•
Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.•
Extremely organized with good communication skills.•
Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.•
Reliable transportation•
Must have a clean MVR

Working Conditions (Schedule, Environment, Travel) :

Schedule will vary depending on the needs of the business (typically Monday – Friday 8AM- 4PM), travel will be required throughout the state of Colorado.•
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk in a warehouse environment, which includes refrigerated space.•
This position requires the ability to repeatedly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.•
Adverse weather conditions must be expected.
