THIS POSITION
We are currently seeking a Field Survey Party Chief desiring career growth to join our Central Valley Survey team. As the Field Survey Party Chief you'll be responsible for directing and participating in the land surveying efforts of our survey crews. The survey crew's you direct will engage in the collection, description, measuring and setting of survey monuments, elevations, control points, topographical features, utilities, infrastructure, construction staking and other land surveying related items. You will be challenged with non-routine and complex assignments utilizing your independent professional judgment and specialized knowledge and skills. You'll also be supported by the BC&F team as you perform recurring work independently while receiving technical and/or professional advice as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Previous experience related to land surveying, effective communication, building relationships, managing project tasks, and reporting results.
- Valid California Driver License and clean driving record
- LSIT or PLS Certification preferred but not required.
- Highly organized, decisive, self-starter with the ability to work independently and coordinate/follow-up with multiple priorities, while managing time effectively and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of problem solving and personal accountability.
THE LOCATION
- We are strategically located in the Central Valley to best serve the needs of our clients. This position may require frequent travel in the field, meeting with on-site teams.
