LABORER - ALPINE Job at Texas Disposal Systems
JOB SUMMARY
The position supports the recycle center and landfill operations by maintaining the grounds and facilities. This position will operate a baler, skid steer and forklift.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment when and where required.
- Clean debris and trash at facilities and maintain the landfill area.
- Operate balers to compress recyclable materials into bales.
- Operate skid steer or forklift to stack bales.
- Clean production equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to perform physical labor when assigned;
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions; and
- Must exhibit fluency in English – both written and verbal.
PREFERRED
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Landfill experience
