THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Keyholder to join Mack Weldon's retail team (Deer Park Outlet location). In this role, you'll partner with the store management team to ensure consistent and efficient store operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role will lead the floor by example and be proficient in product knowledge, operational procedures, and all retail systems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive sales and customer experience on the sales floor by providing above-and-beyond customer service. Responsible for ensuring the Store consistently meets or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability goals.
  • Execute store opening and closing duties
  • Partner with store management team to plan, coordinate, and execute sales floor and back of house operations
  • Ensure all operational, service, and staff zoning procedures are executed to company standards. Accountable for payroll control and smart scheduling to maintain a highly profitable location while providing the highest levels of service to customers.
  • Directly responsible for Loss Prevention and Operational compliance within the store including Shrink goals (Inventory KPIs). Develop, manage, and monitor Loss Prevention awareness programs for the team in partnership with HQ.
  • Act as the leader on the floor, driving store vision and purpose on the floor, as well as acting as the point of contact for all customer service and operational questions. 90% of your time is spent on the floor selling, engaging with customers and coaching employees.
  • Mentor team members by being visible and setting an example for what great customer experience and product knowledge
  • Maintain general store systems and execute operational responsibilities
  • Foster and support a productive employee culture in your store
  • Gather and share feedback from customers, store team members, and via observation
  • Support Store Management team in projects and initiatives
  • Assist the Store Management team with the recruitment, training, development and succession planning of high performing, results driven Associates.

WHAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

  • Minimum 1 year retail, outlet ideal but not required. Must be flexible with working varied shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with the proven ability to work in a fast-paced growing business
  • Proficiency in performing and training on all store POS systems and transactions, dealing with customer service escalations, and opening and closing the store.
  • Ability to adapt and deal with ambiguity
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to carry boxes 25-30lbs for stock transfers
  • Can bend, reach, lift and move stock and products
