Job Summary:
The Human Resources / Employee Services Sr. Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Employee Services area of the Human Resources Department including on/off-boarding, HRIS systems, and Time & Attendance, systems reporting, Employee Relations, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Supervises, develops goals, and trains Employee Services & HRIS Administrator employees in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the employee services and employee relations part of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations, including goal setting and frequent follow-up.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees by company policy, consistently and kindly.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provides support and guidance to HR Front Desk Administrators, Employee Relations Manager, company management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing and terminations.
  • Ensure follow-up of all employee relations issues are handled appropriately and legally through a tracking system.
  • Works with Talent Acquisition to manage the onboarding process, which includes processing high-volume new hire / rehire paperwork online and coordinating with other divisions to ensure a positive onboarding experience for our internal guests (employees) and managers.
  • Ensure legal file organization and maintenance into the HRIS, Time & Attendance, and E-Verify systems comply with state and federal laws.
  • Ensure newly hired employees get onboarded with an orientation to the company, including guest service initiatives, OSHA compliance, etc.
  • Drive & implement HRIS and systems strategies for the HR department to simplify and streamline administrative processes such as onboarding and employee change requests.
  • Provide basic company information and HR systems training for new and returning managers.
  • Provide frequent reporting analysis for various annual HR compliance reports & assist Benefits Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager with data they may need to complete their annual reports.
  • Work with HRIS Administrator to align online systems to provide compensation parameters, build and organize employee files online, roll out review processes, and other HR functions online.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS (UKG) and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of human resources experience and 3 years of HR management experience are preferred.
  • SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is highly desired.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in the Snowbird Center offices.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at Snowbird
