Position Summary:

Responsible for providing a variety of human resources services such as salary administration, recruiting, staffing and/or benefit liaison functions. Develops and implements policies and procedures for all aspects of human resource/personnel administration. Coordinates training, benefits, employee services, compensation, labor relations and other employee programs. Ensures compliance with legal and corporate guidelines.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Administer compensation, benefits and performance management and workmen's compensation systems.

Work with department to identify staff vacancies, review applications, track applications and provide appropriate applications to department managers with staff vacancies.

Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.

Assist Human Resource Manager with difficult staffing duties, including refereeing disputes, and employee terminations.

Maintain Human Resources Policies and Procedures, including annual review and new policies as needed.

Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, FMLA, ADA, workplace violence, drug testing, etc.

Plan, conduct and oversee new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.

Analyze training needs to design employee development and health and safety programs.

Maintain records, compilation of statistical reports concerning personnel related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, absenteeism rates, and productivity.

Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.

Investigate and report on industrial accidents for insurance carriers and participate in the Risk Management Committee.

Represent organization at personnel related hearings and investigations.

Respond to all unemployment claims correspondence as well as represent organization in OESC unemployment hearings.

Oversee the evaluation, classification and rating of occupations and job positions.

Develop and administer a process for meeting reporting requirements for the Affordable Care Act as it pertains to the organization.

Plan and implement benefits programs for all employees. Assist with open enrollment annually.

Perform all other related duties as assigned or directed by HR Manager
