JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The Utah County Health Department seeks to prevent avoidable disease and injury and promote health by monitoring the health of the community and assuring conditions in which people can be healthy.

The Opportunity:
The Utah County Health Department seeks to prevent avoidable disease and injury and promote health by monitoring the health of the community and assuring conditions in which people can be healthy.
Starting Pay: Health Educator II - $23.86 - $27.42
Health Educator I - $22.25 - $25.58
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 – 5:00 p.m., Occasional Evenings and Weekends
Job Qualifications – Health Educator II
1. Bachelor’s degree in Community Health, Health Promotion, Public Health, or a related field.
2. Four (4) years of health education work experience.
3. A completed, related master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of health education work experience.
Job Qualifications – Health Educator I
1. Bachelor’s degree in Community Health, Health Promotion, Public Health, or a related field.
2. Two (2) years of health education work experience.
3. A completed, related master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of health education work experience.
Preferred Candidates will possess some of the below attributes:
Applicant must be eligible to become a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and/or obtain a Certificate in Public Health (CPH).
