Responsible for the implementation of after-school activities to groups of students. Provide supervision and guidance to students in the after-school program.
- Provide instruction to groups of 10/20 students
- Provide daily supervision and guidance to students
- Ensure that students are safe at all times
- Contributes to program planning
- Implementing lesson plans
- Maintaining classroom records
- Maintaining program space
- Monitor individual student goals
- Communicating with parents
- Develop special projects
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary
- Participate in staff development as necessary
Our Ideal Candidate (Qualifications):
- You have a High School Diploma
- You have completed 12 months experience working with school-age children in a recreation, fine arts, camping or academic setting.
- You have excellent communication skills with diverse populations: both written and verbal are required.
- You have demonstrated strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills;
- You exercise good judgment and make sound decisions.
