Front Desk Associate Description:

We are searching for a Front Desk Associate to join our amazing team! As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer service to The Zoo Health Club members and guests, ensuring everyone who enters the club has a positive and memorable experience!

Hiring for:

Monday: 2pm-8pm

Tuesday: 2pm -8pm

Wednesday: 2pm -8pm

Thursday: 2pm -8pm

Friday: 2pm -8pm

Saturday: 8am to 12om

Sunday: Off

Customer Service/ Front Desk Associate Activities:

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Greet members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and doing your best to make members feel comfortable and welcomed!
• Check members in and communicate to them any upcoming events or changes in club schedules.
• General retail duties. Stocking, selling, handling money drawers.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions they have.
• Maintain cleanliness of the gym.
• Prepare Smoothies and Protein shakes for customers.
• Restock Coolers (must be able to lift 50lbs) Club Cleanliness and Maintenance: *
• Keep the front desk area and lobby clean and orderly.
• Regular facility cleaning and upkeep such as mopping up spills under equipment, trash removal, cleaning windows and mirrors, and re-racking weights.
• Regular cleaning of all exercise equipment and tanning beds.
• Regular restroom and wet area cleaning and stocking.
• Signing new members up for memberships (commission compensation)
• Calling hot leads to schedule tours
• answering customer questions and processing forms for cancellations and freezes

Qualifications:

• 6-12 months of Customer Service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency with an eye for accuracy.

Punctuality and reliability is a must.

• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.

Physical Demands/Requirements:

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
