A wonderful hospital in South Orange County is looking for a practice manager. We are looking for someone who has at least 8 years of veterinary practice management experience, a CVPM is plus! We would prefer a candidate who has a Bachelor’s degree (one in business is preferred). We are a 4-doctor practice with a great team. We have wonderful clients, and we provide excellent patient care. We believe in supporting our team members and we are looking for a strong manager to lead our hospital. We have several RVT’s on our team and value training and education

The practice manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice. Our ideal candidate will be a good communicator and be a good leader. They will be able to provide coaching and guidance to our team members. They will have the ability to make decisions, delegate responsibility and achieve results for the hospital.

Duties include, but are not limited to,

• Human Resources/Personnel Management
• Hiring and training new team members
• Creating team schedule
• Monitor and boost team morale through education, coaching, counseling
• Knowledge of Labor Law, DEA regulations, VMA regulations, Safety, & OSHA compliance
• Help increase practice revenue & business
• Ordering inventory
• Help with budgeting and financial evaluation
