The opportunity:

Working closely alongside our Finance team, with extensive ERP, business and technical knowledge/experience, you will report into the Senior Business Applications Architect and be responsible for the development and enhancement of the ERP platform across the wider Clarion group.

Responsibilities:

• Escalation point for Admin on ERP technical issues
• Develop, test, document and deliver solutions for complex business needs
• Develop, build, and test ERP reports.
• Develop, build, and test BIRT reports.
• Load data into ERP using EIBs
• Work with Admin to ensure security for ERP financials is set up as appropriate.
• Work with architect and senior developer to support critical financial functions on ERP financial system
• Proactively conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements
• Assist technical team with development of APIs used to integration with various enterprise software and data warehouse
• Develop test plans and perform unit and regression testing
• Develop implementation plans for ERP updates
• Support and enhance existing ERP integrations with other applications
• Update existing business processes as required

Key skills & knowledge:

Required

• Proven ability to support enterprise financial systems
• Working knowledge of ERP APIs and EIBs
• Strong expertise of ERP business processes
• Working knowledge of ERP integrations
• Expertise in ERP report writing
• Working knowledge of ERP security and roles
• Understanding of financial processes related to proposal-to-cash, procure-to-pay, general ledger, financial reporting, and budget
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communications
• Ability to work with both business and technical teams
• Good written communication skills
• Proven ability to understand and document business requirements

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience with Adaptive Insights and Vertex
• Experience of the events sector
• Knowledge of integration platforms e.g., Dell Boomi
• CRM experience
