Clinical Patient Outreach Coordinator Job at Genesis Medical Associates
Genesis Medical Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Patient Outreach Coordinator, based out of our corporate office. If you have strong customer service skills and a desire to strive for a positive work environment, we encourage you to apply.
The primary role for this position is to work collaboratively with clinical and clerical teams on patient-centered quality care initiatives, as outlined by the Genesis Quality leadership team, physicians, practice director, and nurse manager.
This position does require training as a Medical Assistant or other licensed clinical professional, as knowledge of labs, medications, and clinical systems is necessary to effectively complete tasks.
Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products and EMR is a must.
Responsibilities may include:
- Attend clinical quality and health plan meetings and take notes on actions that require further review from the office
- Run reports from clinical and health plan system and distribute as needed
- Review charts and desktops to pull clinical information for chart prep
- Communicate with specialists and referral sources to obtain reports for completed visits and preventative screening items
- Scan and import documents and update clinical flowsheets into EMR
- Complete outside medical record chart reviews
- Scrub charts for preventative screening completion, labs, etc.
- Complete outreach/scheduling calls for health plan members
- Work collaboratively with GMA Pharmacist on pharmacy initiatives and prior authorizations

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
