The Clinical Coordinator is a leadership position that oversees the clinical internship program, coordination of clinical intakes and waitlists, and supervision of therapists. This position works in partnership with the Sexual Assault Services Director to oversee the management of the clinical program. The position also entails providing individual and group therapy from a trauma-informed, feminist multicultural, and strengths-based perspective.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position with full benefits, salaried position of $65,000-77,000, with a hybrid Monday to Friday schedule. The candidate selection is based on trauma therapy experience, experience working with vulnerable communities, knowledge and a willingness to learn about the feminist multicultural therapy approach, and an understanding of intersectionality. Reports To: Sexual Assault Services Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Psychotherapy

  • Provide individual psychotherapy to 5-8 clients.
  • Facilitate 1 psychotherapy group from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm
  • Provide crisis intervention to clients and callers on the phone as needed

Information and Referrals

  • Represent the Rape Recovery Center at presentations and community events
  • Assist clients with referrals and outside resources as needed

Documentation and Evaluation

  • Keep accurate service and clinical assessment records on all clients
  • Supply surveys and assessment tools to clients for individual and RRC service evaluation
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and reviews within 24 hours of the appointment

Supervision and Meetings

  • Co Facilitate supervision with Director, clinical meetings, and training seminars
  • Attend Internal and external meetings
  • Regular case consultation and conceptualization
  • Provide Clinical Supervision (up to 2 therapists and 2 interns)

Intern Training Coordination

  • Outreach, marketing, recruitment, and coordination of the RRC Internship Training Program
  • Liaison for academic institutions and participate in internship and career fairs
  • Creation and delivery of the internship training seminar
  • Review internship documentation, including clinical notes, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment plans

Leadership and Management

  • Active and innovative engagement in larger leadership consultations and meetings to improve overall agency processes, services, and community engagement
  • Coordination of Clinical Intakes and manage therapy waitlist
  • Assist the Director with reporting on compliance and grant outputs/outcomes
  • Assist the Director with special projects and events as assigned
  • Creation, organization, and implementation of the Training Seminar for the Clinical Team

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fully licensed mental health professionals such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (FMT).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Utah statutes concerning mental health and crisis services
  • Outstanding communication skills, including writing, de-escalation, crisis intervention, and listening
  • Excellence in balancing multiple responsibilities, organized and detail-oriented
  • Understanding of micro, mezzo, and macro systems and their impact on survivors

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • 3-5 years of postgraduate clinical experience or a combination of 3-5 years of management and clinical experience
  • Experience with case management, crisis advocacy, and working with disproportionately impacted populations (i.e. LGBTQI+, Unhoused, Undocumented Immigrants, Black, Indigenous, and other Persons of Color)

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT OFFER

  • Employee must obtain a 40-hour Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor certification within 90 days of the start of employment
