Certified Nursing Office Assistant- Hanover Job at University of Maryland Faculty Physicians
Assists physicians and nursing staff with patient care activities, including assisting with patient flow, taking vitals, and maintaining clinical areas, exams and procedure rooms. Performs various front desk and clerical duties in a medical office including such functions as complete demographic and insurance registration, charge entry, scheduling patients and/or verifying insurance information. Must be fully certified in patient registration.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program.
- One to two years nursing assistant and medical office experience.
- CPR certification is required.
