Determine sourcing for all requisitioned requirements that are not under contract. Assist internal customers in locating and sourcing materials and services not in master material list. Select vendor and appropriate material as needed to support operations. Request pricing, verify orders and issue purchase orders daily.
Duties/Activities Required by Job

• Issue RFQ (request for quote), verify orders and issue purchase orders in compliance with any pre-established contracts or agreements daily.
• Determine sourcing for all requisitioned requirements. Assist internal customers in locating and sourcing materials and services not in master material list
• Monitor on-time deliveries and expedite any required. Resolve AP invoice discrepancies. Document and report all cost avoidance or cost saving's based on Buyer's activity
• Train requisiteness, provide feedback to internal customers, outside suppliers, peers, and senior management
• Maintain safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, local, state, and federal requirements
