Job Summary:
Oversee overall care of layers including but not limited to: maintenance, Egg packing, clean up, vaccinate and record data. Responsible for: overall testing, reporting and scheduling.

• Responsible for overall care of birds
• Monitor computer for all house vitals (water, air, feed, lights)
• Oversee adjustments of water lines, feed guards and climate controls
• Responsible for disposal of daily mortality
• Responsible for preventative and routine maintenance of buildings and equipment
• Responsible for generator upkeep and operation
• Follow all OSHA safety regulations and procedures
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Maintaining proper feed, water, climate and living conditions in buildings
• Ability to define problems, trouble shoot to make repairs
• Ability to operate grounds keeping equipment
• Mechanical, electrical, metal working and plumbing knowledge
• On call duties to include nights and weekends
• Answer Alarms
• Independent Self Starter/Team Player
