Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Job at St. Leonard Retirement Community
The Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing with the administration of assigned nursing units, including policy development, organizational planning and the direction of the delivery of geriatric nursing care, as well as the development and monitoring of standards of gerontological nursing practices. This position also requires promoting public relations, education and consultation within assigned units.

Job Responsibilities:
· Performs activities related to the nursing care needs of residents.
· Maintains effective communication with residents, families, staff, and physicians.
· Documents in accordance with nursing policies and procedures.
· Responds to resident needs with appropriate interventions.
· Performs activities related to medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current license for Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Currently certified in CPR, long-term care experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
