American Precast Concrete looking for a competent Construction Foreman in El Monte, CA to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference for both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. You will be tasked with Setting up the projects for success and working to ensure the timelys completion of the projects.

Qualifications for the Construction Foreman:

• Proven experience as construction foreman
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
• Leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions
• Must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.
• Able to Shoot grade and establish elevation using a laser level
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Aptitude in math
• Problem-solving abilities
• Good physical condition and stamina

Responsibilities for the Construction Foreman:

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities
• Supervise and train new workers
• Coordination with Project Managers or Supers on Projects
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
• Transferring Equipment to different jobs
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Working on the Job as Labor at times to get the job done
• Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
